About the same size as a 1/4 size classical guitar, the Yamaha GL1 is an ideal companion for guitarists who travel, or well suited as a serious introduction to six string guitar for younger players.

With the surge in popularity of the Ukulele in recent years, it really works as a transitional instrument for Uke Players wanting to switch over to guitar, or Guitarists wanting to get the sounds of a Uke without having to adopt a new playing style.

The Yamaha GL1 Guitalele is tuned A-A like a guitar with a Capo placed on the fifth fret, so all guitar players will be able to adapt easily.

It's really handy too if you're going on holiday or to a festival, but is also an ideal gift for the guitarist in your life who has (almost) everything!

A Gigbag is included, and when it comes to restring the Guitarele, just pick up some normal tension classical guitar strings and snip them to a suitable length.
