We want as many people as possible to be able to use HW Audio Ltd Accessibility is considered in the shared design and components of this website, and we continue to improve them when problems are identified.

Using this website

The website is designed to work with common accessibility features built into browsers, computers, tablets and phones. The shared website components aim to support:

• zooming and changing text size without losing access to the main content;
• navigation by keyboard as well as by mouse or touch;
• screen readers and other assistive technologies through meaningful headings, landmarks and form labels;
• text alternatives for images where those descriptions have been supplied; and
• responsive layouts that adapt to different screen sizes and orientations.

Individual pages can also contain older, externally supplied or editor-added content, so accessibility may vary between items of content.

Making the website easier to use

Most browsers and devices allow you to change text size, zoom, colours, contrast, keyboard settings and other accessibility options. AbilityNet's My Computer My Way accessibility guides explain how to adjust these settings on many common devices and browsers.

Content that may be less accessible

Depending on the content published on this website, some material may be less accessible than the main HTML pages. Examples include:

• PDF, Word or other uploaded documents, particularly scanned or historical documents which may not contain structured text or a reliable reading order;
• older images or editor-added images which may not yet have a useful text description;
• embedded maps, video, social-media, payment or other third-party services whose accessibility is controlled partly by their provider; and
• websites and documents reached through external links, which are outside our control.

If you cannot access part of this website, find an accessibility problem, or need information in a different format, please contact us. If possible, include the address of the page or document, what you need, and the format that would work better for you.

We will try to provide the information in a suitable alternative format and to correct repeatable accessibility problems where we can.

Standards and ongoing improvement

We use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standard as the benchmark for the design and development of shared website components. This general accessibility information is not, by itself, a claim that every page, uploaded document or third-party feature has been independently audited or meets every WCAG success criterion.

When an accessibility issue is found in a shared website component, we aim to fix it centrally so that websites using the same component can benefit from the improvement.
