Turkish Cymbals Studio Hi-Hat Cymbals. Hand Cast, Hand Hammered, Hand Lathed

The Studio range of Turkish cymbals are very interesting visually as well as sonically. The outer 2" circle of the top is unlathed, deeply hammered and left raw. This hammering process allows the sound to open more slowly when struck, producing a more defined note with controlled sustain. The remainder of the top is lathed and polished to a brilliant finish.

The bell is raw with no visible hammer marks. The bottom of the Studio cymbals are lathed and brilliant throughout.

Turkish Studio HiHats have the ideal "Chick" sound. Cymbals with warmth, tone and power. There are limitless dynamics & excellent stick definition. You can't go wrong with these hihats in any musical situation.

Turkish cymbals are still hand made in Istanbul, Turkey by skilled craftsmen who have been making cymbals for many generations. The Turkish cymbals are all individual sounding and are full of complex overtones.
