Magic Fluke Ukuele Banjo / Banjolele
Beloved of George Formby the ukulele banjo is a ukulele with a banjo head.
Made from mahogany and with a Remo head, the Magic Fluke gives a very authentic and pleasing tone.
The Firefly Banjo Ukulele combines the ease of playing the uke with the distinctive sound of the banjo. It shares the same 14" soprano scale and neck design as the Flea. The 8" head is synthetic Mylar–based Remo Renaissance with Acousticon pot, factory-tuned and assembled. The simple open-back design is lightweight, requiring no tuning of the head. Action is easily adjustable with shim washers where the dowel stick meets the tailpiece bracket. The Firefly Banjo Ukulele comes standard with: Grover 2B tuners, walnut or maple neck, maple and ebony bridge, 16 fret moulded fingerboard, and LaBella banjo strings
