UP TO EIGHT SYNTHS IN ONE SMALL PACKAGE
The Use-Audio Plugiator is destined to be top of many people's 'Gear Of The
Year' lists. It's already earning awards from esteemed magazines, such as
FutureMusic, and reviews have been universally positive, if not gushing.
And why is that? Put simply, it's amazing technology, at an amazing price. To
assemble the hardware on offer here would have cost nearly £2,000 about two or
three years ago (£4k if you buy the add-ons).
For £329 you get four sound modules; the Minimax, the Lightwave, the B4000,
and the Vocodiser (that's why this amazing box also has a mic input).
The Minimax
MiniMax is the highly acclaimed replica of the famous legend. Incredibly fat
and responsive sound, intuitive control... tweaking its knobs is pure fun, a
real performance synth!
The Lightwave
While the oscillators of the LightWave are based on wavetables, the aftermath
is virtual analog - giving you wide control of the sound. From complex pads to
powerful leads, LightWave offers a vast range of sonic possibilities.
The B4000
The B4000 turns your keyboard into the Queen of Organs. The genuine sound of
a real living electromechanical 400 pound monster. Lively, authentic,
emotional...
The Vocodizer
That's what the microphone input of the Plugiator is for :) Plug in your
microphone and modulate sounds with our voice ...
For an extra 39USD (about 25 pounds at today's exchange rate) you can add
four additional modules. The Prodyssey is modeled after the historic counterpart
and rival of the Minimax; the FMagia is a new synth creation and a great
sounding FM synthesiser; The Pro-12 was the first polyphonic and programmable
synth to become popular, and also became an instant legend; the Drums'n'Bass is
an amazing analog drum machine with bass section.
All-in-all the Plugiator represents remarkable value for money. For
just over £400 you can have access to 8 superb sound modules. Even the (vastly
inferior) software models would cost over a thousand pounds.
Highly recommended.
