We are very proud of the Studiomaster C3x as we helped to design it!

The brief was, make a mixer that:

• sounds great
• only gives you the controls you need
• was only 1U high
• has great effects

This Studiomaster have done, in a great package.

Input 1 on the front is your main mic input. You have volume, treble, middle, bass and reverb, plus a monitor output, all dedicated to that channel.

Mics 2, 3 and 4 share eq and reverb controls, mic 2 is on the front, mics 3 and 4 are on the rear. All the mic inputs are on XLR and jack combi type sockets. Phantom power is included on the unit, switchable in pairs 1-2, 3-4.

There are 4 stereo inputs for connection of any number of types of line source - CD/minidisc/dvd player, laptop etc and these again share eq and fx (if necessary).

The reverb control has all the effects you need, and nothing you don't. All reverb settings have been tested in the real world, so there is nothing that is wasted.

The unit is finished in a champagne silver and is rack mountable. However the rack ears can be removed so that the unit can be used in the home as a home karaoke mixer of the highest quality.
