The Sony MD-JE480B is the most popular minidisc machine for use as a backing playback device for club singers. However the new models don't have autopause facility and anyway it is not cool to have to press stop and then play on your machine every time you want to start playback.

We re-programme the machine to pause after every track, this means you are never caught with the next track playing when you don't want it to.We have also produced a modification to the machine to enable you to play/pause from a footswitch (provided) The footswitch has an attached lead of about 2 metres.

The unit still has 12 months warranty, but we can't modify customers machines, sorry.
