The Phonic Powerpod 1860 is a great value mixer amplifier (powered mixer)
suitable for cabaret artists and small bands. The unit has 8 mono mic channels
and 2 stereo line inputs.
All channels have 3 band eq (treble, middle and bass controls) , 2 monitor
sends for stage monitors, and 2 effects sends, one to the internal effects unit,
and one to an external effects unit.
There is phantom power available on the desck, it can be set to "off", or on
either channels 1-4 or channels 1-8
The desk has an internal 2 x 400 w power amplifier, it can be assigned to
either the main outputs as stereo, or as a mono feed for monitors and a mono
desk out, depending on how it is configured.
The unit can be rack mounted, but comes as standard with a carrying handle
and lift off lid.
Inputs for the mic are on XLR (cannons), the lines are on jacks, and jacks
and phonos on the dedicated stereo line ins. The outputs are Speakons. Power is
240v via an IEC socket on the rear.
