The Starplayer Special is a reproduction of the very first Duesenberg '92 prototype guitars. The neck heel is set-in traditionally, but bolt on with two strong power proof threaded machine screws. This junction combines both worlds of guitar construction while keeping the end of the neck invisible from the body and cutaway. This new design creates a combination of overtones, sustain and attack not achieved by Duesenberg's of the past.
