The Starplayer Special is a reproduction of the very first Duesenberg ´92 prototype guitars. The neck heel is set in traditionally, but bolt-on with two strong power proof threaded machine screws. This junction combines "both worlds" of guitar construction while keeping the end of the neck covered by the body side as it ought to be realized in proper guitar building and design. Moreover that this new design creates a combination of overtones, sustain and attack not achieved by guitars of the past.
