Class H amplifiers which are well-proven to produce high efficiency with low ambient temperatures, are the power source for this series. The two-way biamped model 42.12 (2x12x1) delivers a combined power output of 400 W/rms. The three-way tri-amp model 82.15 (2x15, 6,5, 1) delivers a combined power output of 800 /rms.

Employing a specially developed built-in wave guide with Constant Directivity horns combined with B&C 1 compression driver, an accurate clean dispersion characteristic of 90º x 60º is achieved. The three-way system 82.15 excels in the mid to high frequency range. The 6,5 B&C driver with Phase Plug delivers soft, natural mid frequencies with high speech intelligibility. The 1 B&C compression driver coupled with its specially developed wave guide ensures an extended mid to high frequency range with a wide dispersion angle. All active STAGE OPERA models feature a dynamic limiter for protection against overload which operates inaudibly.

Due to its size and bass reflex design, the 61.18 reproduces cleanly the lowest audible frequencies. The wide range of input facilities make this subwoofer extremely flexible. An active stereo cross-over (24 dB/Octave) enables mono or stereo signals to be filtered at 90, 120 and 150 HZ. There are two balanced XLR outputs for high frequency and two parallel outputs.

The active subwoofer 41.15’s smaller size makes it an ideal alternative to the 61.18 its long throw 15 woofer, incorporates several significant features such as: a 64mm voice coil which has ample surface for cooling and the paper cone mass has been substantially reduced giving the speaker very low moving mass which gives you the kick and punch required. The Class H amplifier supplies sufficient power to drive the speaker with ease while a temperature controlled fan ensures safe operation.

Also available for installations not requiring active loudspeakers dB Technologies offer passive versions 42.12, 82.15 and 62.18. All STAGE OPERA models are constructed from 20mm plywood and are finished in black lacquer. Available is an optional rolling transport platform WK 01 which allows for simple transportation of the speaker systems.
