D'angelico Exl-1
Product details
HW is proud to be a main dealer for these incredible guitars. Not onlydo
D'Angelico have a fantastic heritage of making absolutely the best archtop
guitars, with the new Excel series, these guitars are now more affordable than
ever before.
For the archtop traditionalist, the EXL-1 is a new classic. Never before has
this much guitar been made so accessible. The acoustic sound is full and
resonant, while the Kent Armstrong-designed floating pickup yields an electric
sound of great nuance and authority
Visual appointments include some that haven't been seen since John D'Angelico
himself was making instruments — the solid-brass, polished Excel tailpiece and
stained wood headstock overlay harken back to the good old days on Kenmare
Street. The Excel EXL-1 is a whole lot of archtop, born of a great tradition and
yes, you can afford it!
