The classic Vox Bulldog, was in fact an Alnico Celestion driver, and these units are now made again to the original specifications, using a special alnico magnet.

During the 70's the price of cobalt rocketed, and it was no longer feasible to make magnets with this material, the name al-ni-co comes from aluminium, nickel and cobalt.

12 inch diameter, suitable for retro-fitting in many guitar combos and cabs.
